I am looking for new recipes to add to each class. Do you have any ideas? They have to be easy and inexpensive, my classes are very large this year! They have to be able to be complete from start to finish, including eating time, in 45-50 minutes. I can always use two day lab recipes, as well, prepare one day What great ideas can you give me?
You can find lots of fun recipes on my school site... http://www.lcps.org/Page/20744 Many of the items can be done over a two day period if needed. We are on block schedule - 90 minutes each... But many of these i used when I taught 45 minute classes in my old district. Would love to share with a fellow educator!

I traded in my old school Mac n Cheese recipe for a Butternut Squash version and the kids ewwww'ed and grossed it but in the end they LOVED it. Also we were able to use it in our sneaking veggies into everyday foods unit.
